A major visual and systems update modernizing ships, space environments, combat encounters, progression, and moment-to-moment navigation.

Ships and Space Visuals

  • Fleet Visual Overhaul

    player and NPC ships now use a new 3D-rendered presentation pipeline with improved lighting, directional turning, banking, scale, and faction-specific silhouettes.

  • Expanded Ship Lineup

    updated visual profiles now cover core trainers, pirate craft, supply ships, scouts, starliners, satellites, claim defenders, salvage drones, and other traffic encountered throughout the game.

  • Ship Destruction Improvements

    ship destruction now uses hull-specific breakup visuals and effects for clearer, more satisfying combat outcomes.

  • Asteroid and Environment Upgrade

    mineable and mission asteroids now use improved models, lighting, rotation, and map presentation, with additional environment and habitat visual updates.

Combat and Encounters

  • Pirate Fleet Expansion

    added a distinct pirate leader hull, destruction sequence, combat behavior, and encounter support alongside revised pirate raiders and interceptors.

  • Improved Enemy Behavior

    updated pirate, patrol, traffic, and tutorial combat behavior for more reliable movement, weapon use, target handling, and encounter pacing.

  • Ability Reliability

    hardened ability and projectile handling so active effects, energy costs, cooldowns, stealth breaks, and destroyed-caster cleanup resolve consistently.

  • Clearer Charge Terminology

    added the first common and uncommon equipment progression for levels 11-20, including new mods, ranked abilities, vendor stock, and level-appropriate loot support.

    Soldier, Entrepreneur, Scout, Engineer, and Miner paths now have distinct level-20 ship profiles prepared for their profession progression.
